Cinde Carroll – Studio Owner, Educator and Trainer
Cinde Carroll’s passion for fitness began at ten years old with studies in Jujitsu and dance classes. She enrolled as the only female in an elite Chinese Kempo school and exhibited such strength and technique her Sensei recommended she begin teaching advanced fitness classes to the upper rank students at the age of 16. From there, she moved on to become a ACSM and ACE certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer, frequently recruited to teach at exclusive health spas and facilities across the Chicago area. She honed her skills in corrective exercise, working with professional athletes and rehabilitating injured patients at the Gadja Sports Medical Center and became certified by the Shiatsu Institute of Oriental Medicine before moving to Florida.
Cinde was recruited to become Fitness Director at the world-class Colony Beach and Tennis Resort in Longboat Key in 1988. She sought additional certifications as an ACSM Fitness Leader and an AAHFP Exercise Medical Specialist and Post-Rehabilitation Conditioning Specialist. Her expertise led to her becoming presenter at New York City’s ACSM and Metrosports Magazine Conferences; lecturing on the topic of “Balance and Stability” in 1992.
Cinde’s continued commitment to learning, coaching and teaching led her to become certified in Stott® Pilates, TRX Suspension Training®, Aerial Yoga, GYROTONIC® method , GYROTONIC® Pre/Post Natal Applications and the Level 2 Programs. She was elevated to GYROTONIC® Pretrainer in 2014 and looks forward to evolving her education in these modalities, combining and optimizing the knowledge and experience she has attained through over three decades of study.
Her expertise in fitness, wellness, and rehabilitation exercise is extensive. She embraces a cooperative approach to physical learning, which is both precise and creative, empowers her clients to achieve optimal results and corresponding long-term benefits.

Karen Reynolds – Certified Pilates Instructor / Registered Dietician Nutritionist
Karen is a highly respected member of the fitness and wellness community and possesses a powerful combination of skills. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist with a concierge private nutrition practice, and is also certified in Power Pilates, personal training and senior fitness. Her combination of nutrition and fitness knowledge helps her clients achieve optimal results.
Karen worked as a dental assistant in her father’s practice at the age of 14. She saw the effects first-hand of an unhealthy diet on the teeth and gums. This is where her interest in nutrition began. She followed her dream of becoming a nutritionist and received her degree form Rochester Institute of Technology. She has over 25 years of experience working in clinical settings such as chief dietitian, clinical dietitian, food service director, and wellness educator. Years of working in the nutrition field culminated in Karen’s ultimate nutrition passion—functional medicine nutrition. She continues her studies in Integrative and Functional Medicine Nutrition Therapy and is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and The Institute of Functional Medicine. She created her own concierge private nutrition practice focused on functional medicine nutrition, and helps clients improve their health through food as medicine.
Karen was certified in Power Pilates in 2004 in New York City. She teaches her fitness clients to incorporate Pilates and organic nutrition into their everyday lives. Her passion for wellness transpires into coaching, empowering and inspiring people to achieve optimal results. Let food and exercise be thy medicine!

Melanie Danza – Certified Pilates Instructor
Melanie has been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years. At “Women’s Wellness” a division of NYU Medial Center in New York City she counseled women on the fundamental need of exercise and how to successfully integrate it in to their lives. It was at NYU that she conceived of the idea of Women For Fitness, a full service health club for women which she owned and operated for 12 years, in Westchester County, New York. Melanie has taught many modalities of exercise. She has practiced in many locales with some of the best in the industry and is dedicated to guiding her students toward living healthy, fulfilling and powerful lives. Her passion for Pilates training began in 2005 and continues today. Melanie was trained and certified through the late Romana Kryzanowska, one of Joseph Pilates’ devoted students and protégés. She recently moved to Sarasota from Connecticut. She lives with her husband John and her Standard Poodle Ellie.
Jonathan Cunningham – Tai Chi Instructor
Jonathan Cunningham started studying Qi Gong in 1997 in his hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina with his teacher, the late Grandmaster Sunyata Saraswati of the Shen Tao Temple Monastery. During his time in the temple, Jonathan was introduced to several healing and martial arts such as Tai Chi, Kung Fu, and Reiki, as well as several Qi Gong forms from various cultures around the world.
While in North Carolina, Jonathan began teaching publicly and privately in 2002 and since moving to Florida in 2009, he has continued teaching in various locations throughout the Southwest Florida region.
He now resides in Sarasota, with his six year old son, where he teaches Tai Chi at the studio and private classes throughout the area.
Timothy Agnew – Qi Gong Instructor
Timothy Agnew has practiced kinesiology in Sarasota for decades. He has studied and trained in movement arts and martial arts for more than 3 decades and spent the last ten years researching fascia science in human movement. He writes higher education textbooks as well as fiction and teaches movement seminars globally.
