Cinde Carroll – Studio Owner, Certified Pilates, GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® Educator and Trainer
Cinde Carroll’s passion for fitness began at ten years old with studies in Jujitsu and dance classes. She enrolled as the only female in an elite Chinese Kempo school and exhibited such strength and technique her Sensei recommended she begin teaching advanced fitness classes to the upper rank students at the age of 16. From there, she moved on to become a ACSM and ACE certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer, frequently recruited to teach at exclusive health spas and facilities across the Chicago area. She honed her skills in corrective exercise, working with professional athletes and rehabilitating injured patients at the Gadja Sports Medical Center and became certified by the Shiatsu Institute of Oriental Medicine before moving to Florida.
Cinde was recruited to become Fitness Director at the world-class Colony Beach and Tennis Resort in Longboat Key in 1988. She sought additional certifications as an ACSM Fitness Leader and an AAHFP Exercise Medical Specialist and Post-Rehabilitation Conditioning Specialist. Her expertise led to her becoming presenter at New York City’s ACSM and Metrosports Magazine Conferences; lecturing on the topic of “Balance and Stability” in 1992.
Cinde’s continued commitment to learning, coaching and teaching led her to become certified in Stott® Pilates, TRX Suspension Training®, Aerial Yoga, GYROTONIC® method , GYROTONIC® Pre/Post Natal Applications and the Level 2 Programs. She was elevated to GYROTONIC® Pretrainer in 2014 and looks forward to evolving her education in these modalities, combining and optimizing the knowledge and experience she has attained through over three decades of study.
Her expertise in fitness, wellness, and rehabilitation exercise is extensive. She embraces a cooperative approach to physical learning, which is both precise and creative, empowers her clients to achieve optimal results and corresponding long-term benefits.

Karen Reynolds – Certified Pilates Instructor & Personal Trainer, Senior Fitness Specialist, Functional Medicine Nutritionist & Food Sensitivity Therapist
Karen is a highly respected member of the fitness and wellness community and possesses a powerful combination of skills. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist with a concierge private nutrition practice, and is also certified in Power Pilates, personal training and senior fitness. Her combination of nutrition and fitness knowledge helps her clients achieve optimal results.
Karen worked as a dental assistant in her father’s practice at the age of 14. She saw the effects first-hand of an unhealthy diet on the teeth and gums. This is where her interest in nutrition began. She followed her dream of becoming a nutritionist and received her degree form Rochester Institute of Technology. She has over 25 years of experience working in clinical settings such as chief dietitian, clinical dietitian, food service director, and wellness educator. Years of working in the nutrition field culminated in Karen’s ultimate nutrition passion—functional medicine nutrition. She continues her studies in Integrative and Functional Medicine Nutrition Therapy and is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and The Institute of Functional Medicine. She created her own concierge private nutrition practice focused on functional medicine nutrition, and helps clients improve their health through food as medicine.
Karen was certified in Power Pilates in 2004 in New York City. She teaches her fitness clients to incorporate Pilates and organic nutrition into their everyday lives. Dr. Chippy, The Mindful Cardiologist
Dr. Chippy is a board-certified cardiologist with Heart Specialists of Sarasota. She heads the Dean Ornish and RENEW lifestyle medicine programs and was named Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s 2019 Physician of the Year.
From a young age she knew that she was going to be a doctor and chose a major in biochemistry – fascinated by the myriad chemical processes within the human body. The precision of cardiovascular medicine, research-based treatment protocols and immediate life-saving treatments attracted her to cardiology.
After 20 years in practice, Dr. Chippy’s focus on treating chronic disease has shifted towards lifestyle as the key to preventing, healing, and even reversing heart disease. Love, meditation, and food are her prescription for transforming our minds and bodies. Her practice is open to people seeking the lifestyle tools to achieve optimal health.
Gretchen Johnson – Authentic Pilates™ Certified Instructor, Certified Health Coach & ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Gretchen was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and from a young age loved exercise and competitive sports. She started in gymnastics and moved on to competitive cheerleading in high school. After graduating from UT Knoxville, she ventured to New York City to study Pilates at the renowned The Pilates Studio of New York. She devoted herself to hundreds of hours of school, private lessons, practice hours and testing to become a certified Authentic Pilates teacher in 2003. In 2004, Gretchen opened Absolute Pilates in Brentwood, Tennessee. She added to her training by completing her Power Pilates Certification in 2007 and the Power Pilates Graduate Program in 2016 (demonstrating advanced knowledge of the Pilates System, the Art of Teaching, and anatomy).
Gretchen is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and an HCI Certified Health Coach. She is passionate about helping others and stays motivated by seeing her clients transform their health through exercise and nutrition.
Artur Shvetsov-Dance Instructor & GYROTONIC® Trainer
Artur was born in Ukraine and began dancing at the age of 8. He quickly fell in love with Ballroom dancing. At the age of 15 he won all regional competitions in the Ukraine. Artur’s success is due to his unique incorporation of different dance styles such as jazz, contemporary, ballet, and flamenco in his Latin dancing. At the age of 19 Artur became a finalist of the Ukraine Championships and several other prestigious competitions in Russia. At 21 he moved to the New York to work as a teacher, coach, choreographer and Professional Latin dancer. Artur is currently competing, teaching and coaching couples in dance and uses Gyrotonic training for strength and flexibility. He is a dance instructor and GYROTONIC® trainer.
Natasha Borrero-Dance Instructor
Natasha is a professional dancer and performer; most notably as an internationally-ranked ballroom competitor. She has traveled the world to train with the best educators in dance and to compete at an international level.
Natasha was born and raised in Florida by a prominent ballroom dance family and was exposed to many forms of dance and performance art. She has a background in ballet, musical theater, jazz and Pilates.
Traveling the world she has learned the exotic Latin styles including myriad varieties of salsa, swing, bachata, tango, hustle, merengue, kizomba, and zouk! As a choreographer Natasha is inspired by contemporary, ballet, jazz, partner work, story lines and unique music that creates a feeling among the dancers and audience.
Natasha has a passion for sharing her craft with students of all ages and abilities. She speaks English, Italian and Spanish.
Jonathan Cunningham – Tai Chi & Qi Gong Instructor
Jonathan Cunningham started studying Qi Gong in 1997 in his hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina with his teacher, the late Grandmaster Sunyata Saraswati of the Shen Tao Temple Monastery. During his time in the temple, Jonathan was introduced to several healing and martial arts such as Tai Chi, Kung Fu, and Reiki, as well as several Qi Gong forms from various cultures around the world.
While in North Carolina, Jonathan began teaching publicly and privately in 2002 and since moving to Florida in 2009, he has continued teaching in various locations throughout the Southwest Florida region.
He now resides in Sarasota, with his six year old son, where he teaches Tai Chi at the studio and private classes throughout the area.
Timothy Agnew – Kinesiology and Qi Gong Instructor
Timothy Agnew has practiced kinesiology in Sarasota for decades. He has studied and trained in movement arts and martial arts for more than 3 decades and spent the last ten years researching fascia science in human movement. He writes higher education textbooks as well as fiction and teaches movement seminars globally.
