GYROKINESIS® Lotus Blossom Courses
The GYROKINESIS® Lotus Blossom courses were originally developed by Juliu Horvath as part of his GYROKINESIS® Rejuvenation Course, and in 2013 were introduced as independent courses. In this course, students learn a new 1 hour and 15 minutes GYROKINESIS® floor sequence, and a 30 minute, standing nerve strengthening sequence. The floor sequence consists of a floor version of the seated spinal motions, in addition to level 1 and intermediate level floor sequences. The Nerve Strengthening Sequence is a special treasure that Juliu developed many years ago and is re-introducing as part of the new Lotus Blossom #1 Course. The Nerve Strengthening Sequence can be incorporated with the Lotus Blossom #1 Class format, and can also be incorporated with any GYROKINESIS® level class format.
The entire Lotus Blossom #1 course is accompanied by a custom music score that has been developed by Juliu Horvath and Rodolfo Troncoso specifically for this class format. The music in the course has been created in such a way that it resonates with the intention of each movement sequence.
Course manuals, and a music download option are included with the course. In addition, the GYROKINESIS® Lotus Blossom #1 DVD will be available for purchase, exclusively to course participants.
This course satisfies the licensing update requirement for Level 1 Trainers.

About Erika Hassan
Erika met Juliu Horvath in NYC when she moved there in 1993 to study dance. She had only been dancing for a couple of years and whereas her technique consisted mainly of equal parts force and desire, she was extremely grateful to find a teacher who could guide her into the inner-workings of her own dance. She trained intensively with Juliu for 5 years in the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®. With her new movement vocabulary, she went on to perform with Maureen Fleming, Jennifer Muller/The Works, Zen Companhia de Danca, Min Tanaka and Meftas Dance Theater. Erika is currently Associate Artistic Director of Soulskin Dance and a Specialized GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Master Trainer. She travels the world teaching workshops and cannot wait to visit Sarasota, FL to share her trainings with you!

About Claudia Tudose
​Claudia Tudose is a Specialized Master Trainer in Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and she is Licensed Registered Nurse in South Carolina, USA.
The extensive education in all aspects of Gyrotonic / Gyrokinesis methods, combined with her nursing and psychology background, make Claudia’s method of instruction unique and versatile. Using her credentials and knowledge, Claudia has created a concept which enable her students and clients, who range from university students to elderly persons, to achieve a healthy and holistic body, mind and spirit through Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis exercise.
Her foundation training started in Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis, and now she is a Master Trainer in Gyrotonic specialized equipment such as: Gyrotoner, Jumping Stretching Board. In addition, Claudia is trained to teach Paul Horvath’s therapeutic courses for pelvic-lumbar spine, shoulder girdle and scoliosis. As a former gymnast who practiced this sport for about 14 years in Romania, her passion for sports and dance directed her to take specialized courses for athletes and she is certified to teach Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis for Golfers and Tennis players.
To extend her knowledge and deeper understanding, she continues her education under Juliu Horvath’s instruction taking and successfully completed her Master Level 2 in Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis taking her teaching to a higher level.
Claudia is currently the founder and owner of Gyrotonic Columbia Devine Studio where she is teaching clients and educational courses for Gyrotonic.
She taught Gyrokinesis and Gyrotonic classes for the Dance departments at the University of South Carolina, University of Pennsylvania, New Zealand School of Dance, Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, Uniart Theatre Co. USA and Romania.
Claudia conducted classes, trainings and workshops at different specialized studios in Sweden, Romania, USA (New York, Ashville – NC, Miami – FL, Philadelphia – PA, Columbia – SC, Charleston – SC), Germany and Hong Kong.
